The focus of Mr. Gambel’s practice is the effective and efficient resolution of business problems, particularly those involving insurance, trade secrets, commercial, or maritime issues. Formerly a partner in an AmLaw 100 firm where he practiced for twenty years, he has extensive bench and jury trial experience in complex business litigation as well as arbitration and mediation training and expertise.

Mr. Gambel is trusted with referrals from premier national law firms to serve their clients where there is a need for his particular expertise. As coverage counsel to large U.S. companies, Mr. Gambel has worked in tandem with national coordinating defense counsel to obtain coverage afforded by clients’ insurance policies but denied by their insurers. In other matters for U.S. and foreign clients, he has managed foreign counsel in Asia, South America, the U.K., and The Netherlands.

Clients have included public and private universities, corporate directors and officers, commercial landlords and tenants, industrial manufacturers, building and engineering contractors, food and beverage manufacturers, video production companies, service companies, yacht clubs, vessel owners and operators, cargo interests, importers and exporters.
